About Flower Pots

Flower pots (anar / chichubuddi) are the heart of a family Diwali: a cone that sits on the ground and throws up a fountain of golden, silver or coloured sparks. They are quiet, easy for everyone to enjoy from a safe distance and look beautiful in apartment courtyards and gated-community lawns.

How to choose

  • Size: Mini and Big pots suit small balconies and children watching from a distance; Giant, Special and Deluxe pots are taller and longer — better for open courtyards.
  • Colour: Choose tri-colour, lavender or colour-world fountains if you want more than gold sparks.
  • How many: For a family of four, two boxes of different sizes usually cover the evening.
  • Safety: Place on flat, hard ground, light the tip at arm's length and step back at least 5 metres. Never hold a flower pot in your hand.

Flower Pots — FAQs

Which flower pot gives the biggest fountain?
The Tower Pot Fountain (single large piece) and Flower Pots Giant give the tallest, fullest fountains. Big and Special sizes are smaller and great for children watching.
Are flower pots safe for children?
Flower pots are quiet and among the safest crackers, but an adult should light them while children watch from at least 5 metres away. Never hold a flower pot in the hand.
